Family A · The pitch
Find a game tonight, take your spot.
The open matches near you fit on one screen. You open the one that suits you, tap « I'm in », and meet the side in the match chat.
In 30 seconds
- Open the Discover tab — matches are sorted by distance and urgency.
- Filter if you need to : football or futsal, level, today or this week.
- Open the match card : pitch, time, players already in, price per player.
- Tap « I'm in ». The organiser is notified and the match chat opens for you.
The five screens, in order
Nothing to fill in : joining a match is reading, then tapping.
Open Discover
« Tonight near you » at the top, « Coming up near you » right below, then every match. The three sort options change the order without hiding anything.

Match type and level live in the filters. The search bar finds a pitch or a town.

Pitch and distance, kick-off time, the player gauge, price per player or « Free », and the organiser's profile with their reputation.
The gauge is the most useful thing on it : a match at 8/10 will fill before one at 4/14.
Tap « I'm in »
Your spot is taken straight away — there's no approval to wait for. The organiser gets a notification, and the match chat opens for you.
After the final whistle
Once the organiser ends the match, you can rate your teammates on four things : turning up, behaviour, level of play and team spirit.
Your ratings are anonymous to other players. They're what builds everyone's reliability.
The price is between you
The amount shown is set by the organiser and settled on site, between players. Gaùcho takes no payment and no commission. A match with no amount simply shows as « Free ».
Stuck?
The five situations that come up most.
The match is full — can I still sign up?
You can't take a spot that no longer exists, but you can join the waiting list with « Notify me if a spot opens up ». If someone drops out you get a notification and can join.
A full group match leaves the listings, and comes back the moment a spot frees up.
Something's come up — how do I pull out?
Open the match card and choose « Leave match ». Your spot frees up immediately for someone else.
Do it as soon as you know, not the night before : turning up is one of the four things teammates rate you on, and a late drop-out shows.
Why can't I see certain matches?
Three possible reasons. The match is private : group matches only appear in Discover if the organiser opens spots to the public. It's too far : Discover favours what's around you, so check that location is allowed. Or a filter is still on.
I'm the organiser — why is « I'm in » missing?
An organiser doesn't join their own match : that's decided when you create it, with the « I'm playing in this match » checkbox. Unticked it by mistake? Edit the match while it hasn't started.
Can someone I've blocked join my match?
No. Blocking someone stops them contacting you and joining your matches. That's what separates blocking from simply removing a friend. See the Messages & safety guide.
Your next match is waiting.
Open Discover and take your spot — odds are there's a game tonight less than three kilometres away.
