« The Tuesday lot » deserve better than a group chat someone has to revive every week. Set the group up once : matches launch in a single move, and the recurring slot books itself.
In 30 seconds
- Add your friends first — you only invite friends into a group.
- My Matches tab → Groups tab → « Create a group ».
- Launch the group match : members only, or opened to the public.
- Switch on the recurring slot : each week the match is created and everyone invited.

Become friends with them first
The member list is picked from your friends. With no friends added, the creation screen stays empty — that's the most common blocker.

Name the group
The name shows everywhere : on the crest, in the chat, on your matches. « The Tuesday Devils » rather than « Group 1 ».
Tick the members
You're the admin. You can add people later, rename the group, remove a member or disband it — and matches already created are kept either way.
Share the invite link
For those who aren't your friends in the app yet : a link to paste into your usual conversation, and they land straight in the group.
Launch the group match
Same form as a public match, with members already invited. It starts private : up to you whether it stays that way.
Private or open? Both, in that order.
A group match starts members-only. If you're short as it gets closer, you open spots to the public in one move — and the opening closes itself.
Members only by default
- Doesn't appear in Discover
- Only group members can join
- The chat stays limited to the group
Opened to the public one tap
- The missing spots enter Discover, and not one more
- The opening closes as soon as the numbers are met
- The group itself stays private : not the chat, not the member list, not the other dates
- Reversible : « Make private again » pulls the match from the listings, and anyone already in stays in
Opening automatically, every time
If your slot is regularly short of players, you can have spots opened automatically as soon as you're missing people 48 h before kick-off. You stop thinking about it, and the group stays private.

Every week the match is created and all members are invited. Nobody has to chase anyone.
Fix the usual teams
You can set a line-up that applies to the whole slot : every week everyone lands in their team, with no re-picking.

The « add members » screen is empty
It's not a bug : only your friends can be added to a group. Add a few players as friends first, then come back and create your group. See Add friends.
A friend doesn't have the app yet — what do I do?
Two options. Send them your group invite link : they land straight in the group once they've signed up. Or share your referral code so they create an account, then add them as a friend before bringing them into the group.
Who can disband the group, and what happens to the matches?
Only the admin. The group then disappears for every member — but matches already created are kept, with their players and their history.
I'm leaving the group and I'm the admin
Admin passes automatically to the longest-standing member. The group carries on without you.
Is the recurring match created even if nobody replies?
Yes : it's created at the point you set and all members are invited, whether they answer or not. That's precisely what saves you chasing the chat every week.
Does opening a group match to the public expose my group?
No. Only the missing spots on that one match enter Discover. The group chat, the member list and the other dates of the slot stay private.
